I’ve been hinting around for a while that there was going to be some changes coming down the pipeline and here they are.
I’m going to be brutally honest, I was never 100% in love with the name Coffee & Wool. It came to be after sitting around a table with a couple of friends at the yarn store to create something that I could use to promote the classes I was teaching nearly every week. It was fitting, considering my love of little brown caffeinated beans bathed in hot water, and my favorite fiber type, but it’s really ran it’s course. In a way it had begun to feel limiting.
So, I’m rebranding. Classes will begin to reappear on the schedule. I’m working on creating actual products for purchase – with time. In general, I’m wanting to turn this into a true side-gig, passion project, and felt the need to cast off the old to restart with the new.
The blog has been renamed and a new domain name set up. The old posts will still stay since some of them actually get quite a bit of traffic and are informative. New posts, I hope, will have more focus and purpose behind them.
I’m in the process of updating the Facebook page as well, but the powers that be somehow think the change over to Little Brown Mouse Fiberworks is in some way a misleading name. It’s currently in appeal.
In other news, the human behind this is also taking an extensive break from her personal social media. Translation: the old facebook feed seems a little angsty with the current state of affairs politically and socially, work has it’s own stresses right now, and I needed a break. Anything related to Little Brown Mouse/Coffee & Wool is coming back online this week.
Hopefully, all of this said. I hope you stick around.
